12/31/2023 0 Comments Moca aoba mat![]() Ran was upset when Moca of all the girls didn't recognize it, showing how much this flower and the start of their friendship means to her. Ran even makes a flower arrangement for Afterglow using camellias, which is the flower that Ran used to pay Moca for her bread in this childhood bakery. We definitely wouldn't have the same Ran today without Moca's childhood bakery. To go even further back, Moca was the one to get Ran out of her shy shell as a child. When Ran was having family issues, it was Moca who pushed her to confront her dad and her problems and then begin making the change so that Afterglow could continue performing and playing together as a band. ![]() Moca is a key character in Ran's development. This is shown in both their Band Stories, when Moca asks for advice to help Ran, and in a lounge conversation between Lisa and Ran, where Lisa tells Ran that Moca talks about her a lot at work. Moca also talks about Ran a lot at her convenience store job with her friend Lisa. Thanks for everything." and Moca said, "So rock and roll~ Moca-Chan's in love~" as a response. And lastly, but there are definitely other moments, is when Moca found Ran on the roof and saw her writing in her journal, Moca took a peek and the journal said, "Happy Birthday Moca. And another would be when Ran went to the convenience store while Moca was working and Moca jokes that Ran missed her and proceeded to hand Ran a note with her phone number on it and said, "Call me later~". Ran, of course, got flustered and told Moca not to compare her to bread, and Moca said that it's the best compliment anyone could ever receive. Another being a lounge conversation between Ran and Moca in which Moca said that the words Ran and Pan sound similar, comparing Ran with her favorite thing in the world, bread. Some examples of this being when Moca called Ran 'dear' and said "You know you're the cutest when you smile~" to Ran and even asked her if the song she's writing is, ".a love song, about your dearest Moca~", all of these being from Afterglow's First Band Story. Moca often teases or flirts with Ran, who blushes or bickers with her most times. ![]() On stage and off, they're like two bodies with one mind." There's no denying that Ran and Moca have a very special bond, whether platonic or romantic. Don't you think that's cool?" Another case would be when Tsugumi, another Afterglow member, says, ".We're all great childhood friends, but have something special. They are also both students at Haneoka Girls' High School.ĭespite everyone in Afterglow being very close, it is mentioned multiple times that Ran and Moca have a very special bond that not even other Afterglow members have with either of them, this can be highlighted in when fellow Afterglow member, Tomoe, says, " don't even need words to communicate any more. Moca and Ran are both guitarists for the band Afterglow, which is a group of of childhood friends. ![]()

Allow me to share with you some qualities a godly mother will possess.įrom the first two children ever born until now, it is has never been easy to raise kids. We don’t know a lot about them outside of this, but we are certain these women did an excellent job in transferring their faith from one generation to the next. These women were instrumental in developing and instilling this faith in Timothy. His father was Greek, and we are not sure if he was a believer, but we are certain his mother and grandmother were. One of the greatest examples of generational faith in the Bible is the life of Timothy. “I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also” ( 2 Timothy 1:5). A mother is doing her job well when she is teaching and instructing her children. There are so many things children need to learn as they progress through the various stages of life. Part of the role of being a mother and a parent in general is the responsibility to teach. “My son, keep your father’s command and do not forsake your mother’s teaching” ( Proverbs 6:20). As I consider my own life and the relationship my wife has with our two kids, I see there is a nurturing nature that flows out of her as a mother, that is different than what flows from me. This is an example of care that begins at birth and has the potential to continue through life. One of the most endearing images you can have is a mother nursing her child. Just as a nursing mother cares for her children, so we cared for you” ( 1 Thessalonians 2:7-8). “Instead, we were like young children among you. There are many different ways a mother can influence her home and her children. This story demonstrates the caring, compassion and love that is typically exhibited by mothers towards their children. In this instance, this mother protected the life of her son, even if it meant losing him to someone else. This story gives us insight into what the Bible says about mothers and one of the aspects of motherhood. Do not kill him she is his mother’” ( 1 Kings 3:24-27). Then the king gave his ruling: ‘Give the living baby to the first woman. The woman whose son was alive was deeply moved out of love for her son and said to the king, ‘Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don’t kill him!’īut the other said, ‘Neither I nor you shall have him. He then gave an order: ‘Cut the living child in two and give half to one and half to the other.’ “Then the king said, ‘Bring me a sword.’ So they brought a sword for the king. Here is how Solomon decided this dispute. When the woman realized it wasn’t her baby, they came before Solomon for him to rule on their dispute. ![]() She then switched her son with the other woman’s baby and acted as if her baby was still alive and the other woman’s baby had died. One woman accidentally slept on her son, and he died. You can read the full story in 1 Kings 3 but here is the synopsis. In the book of 1 Kings, we see a story that gives us a picture of the heart of a mother. To read more Bible verses about mothers, click here. They are a garland to grace your head, and a chain to adorn your neck” ( Proverbs 1:8-9). “Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction, and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” ( Isaiah 49:15). “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you and you will be comforted over Jerusalem” ( Isaiah 66:13). “Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you” ( Deuteronomy 5:16). Bible Verses about Mothers and Motherhood “Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living” ( Genesis 3:20). The beauty of it is that Eve would not just be the mother of her children, but the mother of all the living – which is what her name means. This would not just serve Adam and Eve, but literally all humanity. After Adam and Eve were created, God gave them an instruction to be fruitful and multiply. ![]() It was God’s plan to create family units with mothers and fathers that would be responsible for raising children. It was God’s intention that a man and a woman would come together in marriage, and one of the possible outcomes of that union would be the ability to procreate, therefore creating mothers and fathers. One of the purposes for creating members of the opposite sex was for procreation. Within the creation narrative we know God created male and female. One of the first thing we see the Bible say about mothers is that motherhood was God’s idea. ![]() 12/31/2023 0 Comments Liquid alchemist blood orange![]() “The sales part of this was a big wake-up call,” said Riemer. The website and social media and insurance and everything else. “The paperwork is astounding,” he said, something I hear all of the time from people who make adult beverages of any kind. He did not grasp the myriad challenges of running a business. He understood how to make a bar profitable. Years of running bars gave him business smarts, but on a micro-scale. At some point towards the end of his advanced education he decided hospitality was his field, rather than working as a psychologist or finding a job in a corporation. Riemer grew up in rural northern Wisconsin, and worked in bars to pay his way through undergraduate and graduate school, where he studied psychology. More rapid routes towards growth normally involve investors. It’s a tricky balance, as Boulder’s many startups, especially in the natural foods space understand. But they also place their own demands on the founder’s business. Many other beverage startups - from breweries to distilleries to kombucha companies - lean hard on investors to get the operation off the ground and to fuel it through early, lean years. “I saved my money to start this, and sole ownership is important to me. I don’t need income from Grove Street,” said Riemer. ![]() “I get to do this on my own terms, because I’m also employed. Riemer’s day job is beverage director at 24 Carrot Bistro in Erie, a charming, ambitious spot with a killer bar program. Alchemy is just one part of the cocktail. I imagined him spending days in the distillery messing with whatever catches his fancy - chiles, cardamom, rose petals, lavender, smoke. Riemer’s whole project - capturing essences in liquid - seemed idyllic to me. This was essence of roasted green chile, in a glass. And then it compelled me to take another sip. Riemer’s chile liqueur first made me hiccup - spicy food does that to me. I find most chile-spiked beverages disappointing, especially chile beer. Chiles, rather than citrus, sluiced through my veins for years. I’m a former resident of the Land of Enchantment. While hanging out with Riemer at the distillery, he offered me samples of the Hatch liqueur. And he’s working on a smoked coffee liqueur, and one based on Hatch chiles. His Meyer lemon, fennel and gentian root liqueur is on shelves now. After a year of fiddling with recipes and techniques, Longmont’s D.J. Longmont spots like La Vita Bella, The Roost, Still Cellars, Jefe’s and West Side Tavern also use Riemer’s concoctions. Restaurants like Santo, McDevitt Taco Supply, The Bitter Bar and River and Woods in Boulder use the liqueurs in drinks, most notably as a replacement for other orange liqueurs in margaritas. Riemer’s orange liqueur is available in many Boulder County and Front Range liquor stores. Now he polishes off 10 cases in about the same period of time. Those first batches required two hours of stroking a zester back and forth across oranges to get through a case of fruit. He controls the speed with a foot pedal, applies the zester to the rotating orange, and collects mounds of zest in short order. Now, more than a year into fiddling with recipes and techniques, Riemer is crafting heady orange liqueur: perfumed, smooth, balanced, haunted by whispers of spice he adds to the process.Īnd his mechanical engineer girlfriend has relieved him of the toughest part of the process, the hand-zesting. Once satisfactorily orangey, he amended the liquid with water to lower the proof, and sweetened it with organic cane sugar. A capsule is a lot about knowing your style and what works for you, so you have to get rid of all the shiz clogging up your closet that isn’t your style, no longer fits, has stains/rips or is otherwise unwearable, or leftover from Comic-Con. You already kinda have a capsule but want to refine it or add to it. A capsule wardrobe can be a good introduction to figuring out your personal style without overhauling your entire closet with a ton of pieces.
